Jackie "Lee" Younce, Jr.
September 5th, 1965 - March 5th, 2024
Jackie “Lee” Younce, Jr., 58, of Elkton, MD, died peacefully at home on March 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and close family, following a battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Havre de Grace, MD, in 1965, to Jackie Lee Younce, Sr. and Patsy Sue Younce.
Lee grew up and attended Elkton High School in Cecil County before owning and operating several successful local businesses. He loved fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. Above all else, he loved Jesus, and spending time with his wife and grandchildren. He would tell others that the greatest thing he ever did, was finding Jesus. He generously contributed to many charities, churches, and individuals. He traveled on mission trips to Cuba, Africa, Haiti, and India, to share the love of Jesus with others.
Lee married the love of his life, Lori, on June 30, 2016, and warmly welcomed his new stepchildren.
Lee and Lori’s family lovingly expanded to include stepchildren Brett Davis, Devin Davis, Adam Snyder, and Austin Snyder. Lee also enjoyed being a grandfather to Olivia Davis, Colton Davis, Sophia Davis, Carter Snyder, Paisley Snyder, and Cooper Snyder.
He is survived by his wife Lori A Younce, stepchildren Brett Davis (Emily), Devin Davis, Adam Snyder, and Austin Snyder (Brittney), grandchildren Olivia Davis, Colton Davis, Sophia Davis, Carter Snyder, Paisley Snyder, and Cooper Snyder, siblings Sherry Looney, Julie Lyness (Tom), Judah Younce (Barbara), Jeremiah Younce, and Ethan Younce, nephews Brandon Younce, Tim Looney III, Landon Younce, Tallon Younce, Jack Younce, and nieces Rachel Looney, Leah Younce, Ava Younce, Sage Younce, and Zariah Younce. Lee had a soft spot for his beloved dog Kinsly, who will miss her playtime with daddy.
Lee was preceded in death by his mother Patsy S. Younce and brother Joel M. Younce.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 10-11am on March 13 at Truth & Life Center at 1924 West Pulaski Highway, Elkton, MD, followed by a celebration of life service from 11am-noon. Burial is at Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Truth & Life Center would be greatly appreciated.
